One2Cee — also known as The One2Cee and Blind God — has carried Texas hip-hop from battle circles to records, podcasts, live stages and film.
Born Chasmon Maurice Demus in Fort Worth, Texas, One2Cee moved to Austin to attend the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Hip-hop became both a craft and a proving ground. His quick wit, freestyle instincts and commanding presence took him into battle leagues across Texas and on the road.
That same voice lives in his recorded music: direct, personal and built around a point of view no one else can claim. His catalog includes #BlindGod, Vol. 1, the #Blinded EP era, collaborations with artists including B-Mob and QuestionATL, and his latest album, I’m Really Hymn.
His story has also traveled through interviews, radio and documentary work. His music appears in The Eyes of Me, the award-winning documentary about students at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired that premiered at SXSW and later aired through PBS’s Independent Lens.
